Annual Fund

Damariscotta Montessori School relies heavily on our annual fund to raise necessary money. In fact, it is the second most important source of income the school depends upon, with the first being from student tuition. The annual fund is critical to maintaining our operating budget, with donations supporting every aspect of our school’s programs. Some of the most important ways contributions help out include:

• Our ability to hire and retain highly-qualified and passionate educators

• Allowing us to keep tuition manageable for all families

• Supporting our financial assistance program

• Ensuring our classroom environments are equipped with high quality materials

• Provide our students with rich and varied learning experiences

We aim for 100% participation from our parent and board community. Your family knows best what contribution is right for you, but please donate generously. Your donations are tax deductible, while tuition payments are not. Family donations to the annual fund help us keep our tuition reasonable, and higher percentages of parent participation allow us to qualify for certain grants and other sources of funding.

Spring Auction

Our spring auction is a fun way for the adults in our school community to get together and raise money for DMS. Held each May, we look forward to an opportunity to socialize while doing some good. Check back soon for details on our 2022 auction!
